
Following the receipt of your signed contract, the Palm Springs Convention Center will assign an Event Manager to assist with your event planning and implementation. Once assigned, the Event Manager will remain your primary liaison through the conclusion of the event. The Event Manager will also function as the conduit to Convention Center personnel and subcontractors, gathering all event information and disseminating that information to all operating departments, including engineering, event security, set-up staff, audio-visual, emergency medical services, electrical, telecommunications, catering, police, and fire services.
It is important to remember that the Palm Springs Convention Center is a multi-purpose facility, and may have simultaneous events in the building. The Event Manager will rely heavily on the information you provide to manage and coordinate public areas for multiple events. Providing detailed program information in advance will ensure smooth operation during the event.
